Critical Review
I have been a car nut all my life and have owned Porsches, Vettes, Jags,A Mazada RX7Twin Turbo ( Scary fast!) and I just purchased a 2004 Viper a few days ago. Traded in a 2000 911 Carrera Porsche Cab that I owned for 5 years. The car I bought has 5,000 miles and I got it for $42K. First impressions, Very rough ride, super looks, powerful machine! Only question for Chrylser is what is with the HUGE HEAT COMING FROM THE SIDE EXHAUST??? You would think they could insulate the pipes and solve this problem. I drove it home from dealer and burned my leg getting out in the garage. I called a local dealer and they said common problem and no fix. It is an assume car and I plan to keep it for a while as a "Sunday Driver". But I will be alone as my wife can't exit without buring her leg. Great car but got to wonder what the designers were thinking when they decided to vent exhaust on sides of car without proper insulation! Plan to keep it for a while but will probably trade for 911 Turbo some day.

Best deals ever I have ever had! I would tell everyone to try kbb!!! If you want information and the best deals
Super fun car to drive in limited amounts
Unrefined, sheer brute power
If you are expecting refinement and smooth ride, etc. buy a Corvette. A Viper is not a daily driver and it demands your absolute attention at every moment. You can wreck this car very easily if you get too comfortable with it or think you can just stomp on the pedal without some training. You don't see many on the road but when you do, it's an attention grabber big time.
Amazing car that drives as good as it looks.
Needs cruise control.
Wow what a piece of machinery. Looks amazing just sitting in a parking lot. Cars drives like no other. It is a beast. Do not give it any gas into a tight corner or you will be going backwards quickly. I have had it since 2007 and do most of the work on it myself. Fairly easy to work on seeing how its a supercar. Can't tell you how many times I've gone 180 in it. And we aren't talking kilometers. Gets tighter to the ground as you go faster due to the way its shaped and ground effects under car. The only problem I have is the battery runs down and needs a good charge. That's mostly from not driving it enough. People love seeing it. Always getting thumbs up from people. Turns heads.
All around great car!!!

Great looking car. Comfortable even on 2 hr. drives. Always a bunch of thumbs up, and picture taking. Have to watch for other cars getting close to look at it. Any time I stop, people stare and tell me how they like it. Very fast, stops and handles world class. The top is easy to operate. NEVER runs hot. Unlike the Vettes, you dont see a Viper on every corner. Its an '04, but can still more then hold its own. Driving a Viper is great at any speed. The power band comes on early, and never stops. Great car.
like new for half the price
no cup holders
Car is very clean, all options, Black with factory Gray Stripes, best color combo.
fast and fun
a slightly tight cockpit, but I am 6'4"
I have had this Viper for about 8 years now, not 1 issue, its fast, fun, and looks great. You really have to respect this car, as it doesn't have any traction control like a lot of other cars have. It was surprisingly comfortable on long highway drives,
Nothing like it.
Do not ever drive it in the rain

I love this thing. This is my 5th Viper. I've also had 5 Corvettes. Totally different cars. You have to work to drive this car, and that's what makes it so much fun. Not to mention people go nuts when you drive by.
