I have been driving this truck since it was new. I now have over 225,000 miles on it. Other than regular maintenance the only thing that has been replaced is the alternator. I actually get about 18 mpg on the highway at approx 65 mph. In the city well that is a different story. It gets about 12 to 13 mpg. I have been very comfortable driving this truck. Even with the high mileage I feel very safe and would not hesitate to take it cross-country if the need should arise.

New tires and new brakes, thunderroad model came with 20 inch wheels and tires,has towing package and extra cooler for the transmission.Mantenance was always kept up. Has slite rust above real wheels, Paint is excellent elsewhere. Interior is in good condition.

Owned since 2094 it’s a left over 2003, has never let me down dependable, starts and pulls everytime, very pleased with it.
Spacious, comfortable, reliable.
Questionable gas mileage
Been rear ended three times and still no damage. The thing has lasted eons with very few issues. If you take care of it, it will take care of you.

The truck has been very reliable I’ve had it for six years now only put about 30,000 miles on it totaling 142k now, overall it has been very reliable starts every time & does not Burn or leak oil. 2 things bad; the different electrical issues that have popped up on it when you lock the doors not all of them lock & when you go forward it only locks the one door. Also the 4.7L engine is gutless lol it gets the same ridiculous gas mileage as the 5.7 Hemi, w/ none of the get up & go (11mpg avg) I have noticed. Overall have been happy w/ this truck though…
I've been told several times I need to get a newer truck because this one is so "old". I refuse! Standard transmission, diesel and the ONLY trouble I've ever had with it is the 4wd transfer case giving out. This transfer case is extremely light weight for the torque the back end has. I've already gone through 2 cases and it's ready for a third. I use mine to pull a 3-horse live-in trailer on dirt roads into the mountains, so I do use the 4wd often. Until this truck gives out completely, I will not replace it with a higher priced, inferior model. I don't care how old it gets.
86000 miles fully loaded 4 door DAYTONA HEMI edition it has a beautiful custom paint job and new interior for the entire front of the truck.. the back is perfect as well...

Had this truck a couple years now and everything works great nothing major has broken and all the electrical works great.
Reliable truck
Getting older in age
This truck has been a great and reliable vehicle for me. A couple of bumps here and there but that’s just because it’s getting up there in age. Still one of the most reliable ram trucks ever made!
