Bought new SXT in 2008. 3.7, Sun & wheels + trailer tow packages. This truck has been bulletproof. 192,000 miles and Not 1 problem associated with non-normal maintenance items. I have a Lifetime power-train on it and I purchased the Added Care Lifetime wrap - havent used it yet. Thats just crazy good. OK 1 issue, had to pay for new lower control arms (Corroded) in April 2018 so they could do an alignment (1st one in 10 years) and that was just because my son slid into a curb. But you expect that from the salt in NE. Just an excellent built vehicle. Even the original muffler is still on it. I remember when the Nitro first came out (2007) and all the publications po-pod them, boy were they wrong!!

Nice looking & good in snow (only whilst in 4WD)...underpowered, horrible gas mileage, tiny interior, heat is touch and go, windows leak

This car starts by itself. Even when keys are nowhere in its vicinity. The doors will lock and car will just start at all times of the night and day. I have to unhook the battery often. This car will shut off mud drive. All the lights will come on, on the dash and it will shut off on the street. This car will shock me while I’m driving. I will get an electric shock when I exit the vehicle. I’ve NEVER experienced this with another car in my life.

I freaking love my Nitro , best car in my last 9 yrs , this car has never left me , that only thing I didn’t give 5 stars is the accessories they pretty cheap break easy other than that the best car I ever had 187 000 miles in still going …
Great vehicle
Not many.
I gave my son the dodge nitro. A lady ran a red light. His car got smashed the front end Sevier enough to total it. But this nitro saved his life and his passenger life. The air bags and front end did their job,they took the brunt and the occupants were saved. So thank you Dodge for keeping my son safe. Lisa b
Quite engine, reliable, roomy

I bought a used, 6 speed with 98,000 miles.. I enjoy this vehicle, it's been a very reliable vehicle. After my experience with the dodge Journey, I was very skeptical about buying another Dodge.. Driving this Dodge Nitro reminds me of my jeep Cherokee. . It's been a good, reliable vehicle.

This car is very underrated if you get the RT version with the V6 it is an amazing SUV with some add-ons and a dual exhaust and some extras you can make it really special it drives great the interior is simple but everything is large and easy-to-use without all that complicated stuff that you don't need any way. You don't see many of these on the road and that's what makes it even better when you're driving one everyone looks at you and gives you a thumbs up

Best car I've ever owned ,incredibly smooth ride and handling, plenty of POWER when needed, dependable, stylishly good looks ,I put my own premium rims on it ,and am constantly getting compliments, what kind a car is that? is that a Mercedes-Jeep-or just wow !-nice car! I just love it ,great premium sound,-surround sound on movies, 2-screens,front,n back, headphones for passengers movie watching ,while I listen to my own downloaded CDs. sunroof/ vent, slide-out rear rear panel for e-z loading! has it ALL! 4-wheel drive for off road driving in hills or desert! (Jeep chassis)! Cant say enough about this car!
