Positive Review
I have no problems what so ever with this car. In the 110000 miles I have replaced one tie rod, tires & sparkplugs & that is all. One of the best vehicles I have ever owned, & I have owned over 100 vehicles in my 77 years of life time.
Critical Review
We bought our first 2006 Magnum in mid-2006. It was a lemon -- literally. The check engine light repeatedly came on due to "misfires," and the car would go into "limp" mode on the freeway. We wound up returning it to the dealer and trading it under California's lemon law for another 2006 Magnum after only a few months of these problems. The second Magnum's check engine light came on for a "misfire" in the first few months. We took it to a different dealer and thought we had the problem fixed. Now, 18 months and 15,000 miles later, we have had this second car in the shop 4 times in the last couple of weeks due to the engine light coming on -- they can't seem to fix it this time. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR.

so i owned this from 2008-2014 with some issues, but a poor fuel economy and big engines slow it down from others
it's an R/T, plenty of power
engine quiet
I've replaced the water pump, computer, and A/C compressor, front brakes and all shocks. It's been a great car, has lived up to my expectations.
Fun to drive with the 5.7.
It's a heavy car.
Big car with a lot of room. Stronge motor. Good suspension for a wagon. It's a little heavy but you can tell your driving a Hemi.
A cool a$$ station wagon
I only own 2 of them
6.1L Hemi, 20" Wheels, Brembo brakes, 3" exhaust and a whole lot of fun. They should bring them back.....but like Junkyard Dave did. Hellcat AWD.
Stylish Hemi powered station wagon!
Bought in 2014 and made the 20+ hour drive back. 24mpg out of a 5.7L Hemi! Absolutely love this car! Original engine and transmission still going strong.
The look of the car
Gas mileage is not the best but it's not the worst
I've had it for 2 months, get a little squeaking out of the brakes but the pads are not wore down, plastic around the bottom of the front seats came a loose and lack of satellite radio, and molding on rear door seems to bump the front door. Overall I've had a lot of cars and these are very minor problems
Very nice wagon.
None..
Never have had a problem with this Magnum. Not even the so called Hemi tick.. I use Royal Purple full synthetic oil. Change 8-9k miles. No frontend knocking.. Nothing..
Very fast, comfy, sleek, and practical!
gas mileage isn't the best
I own a 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD in Brilliant Black Metallic. I bought her used and have been daily driving her for around 6-8 months. She has been a great car! She's got the 5.7 Hemi and AWD so she is very fast! She can hit 60 in less than 6 seconds which is saying something for a 15 year old car that weighs over 5000 pounds. I can easily fit my BMX bike in the trunk, and I can fit 4 people inside very comfortably. The interior is spacious and comfy. I really can't find much to complain about with this car. Gas mileage isn't great (average 14mpg for mostly city driving) but that's really about it. She's been very mechanically reliable but I did need to fix a few minor electrical issues that were very cheap. Although she's a little beat and could really use some body work and a paint job, but you can't find a Hemi Mopar under 6k without a few minor issues. The styling is very sleek and aggressive. Although I'm not a fan of the front end, I'm gonna swap it with the Chrysler 300 front end, which bolts right on. Overall, My Hemi Magnum has been a truly amazing car that is both sporty and practical!
