Critical Review
A nice driving, comfortable car with constant engine trouble. Water pump is a big problem to change.. it's known for going out. Mine... 3 times! The transmission and the engine also have reoccurring issues!!! Electrical issues also. I'd call it a lemon. After google research, others agree.

Cheap price good looks
Lots of known engine problems.
I picked this car up for a cheap price. I’ve replaced the wheel bearings, brakes and put new tires on it. These are maintenance items that wear out on any car. The check engine light is on and the codes read either a purge valve solenoid or canister or both. I’m starting with the solenoid. The car runs fine. It has the 2.7 liter so it’s rather weak, but it gets the job done. I keep an eye on the coolant level and oil as the 2.7 engines are known to be problematic. So far so good. It is a attractive car in my opinion. I didn’t pay much so if it last a year or two I will feel I got my money’s worth.
very dependable, good in snow, good sound system,
overheating, needs freon
reliable car, always starts, good in snow, original owners, non smokers, 4 door, sunroof, huge trunk,,pretty gold color, needs some overheating work, ac works, but needs a shot of freon
Lots of room, generally cheap to purchase
Not built to last as long as it should
Bought at 63k miles and put about $1600 of work into it till the coolant started leaking at 88k. It was a water pump that my trusted mechanic said was a recall on this model. He said that it would be 1200 to fix the water pump and that may not even correct the problem so i went and bought a Hyundai. Sick of Dodge and Ford cars leaving me stranded!! Of all those miles it did get me from Missouri to South Florida several times. Still, i was expecting to keep the car much longer than i was able to.
It was a babied car and fun to drive!
Broken mirror piece, shiny wheels rotted
It recently died without warning at 102,000 miles now I have to have the lower half of the motor replaced with a used one until I can get back on my feet enough to BUY A TOYOTA!
good drifties and mud boging
it doesnt have leather seats....
this car is a piece of c r a p. i would never buy this stu pid pile of cr ap. it does do good drifties and mud bogging but it may overheat when in mogers corn fields. Ac belt may come off when giver her the nu ts in the fields. After you get done boggin just bring her by the barn and get the ole pressure washer out and spray right down the air intake while your buddy gives her the nu ts. cleans her right out .
Great reliablility and fuel economy for its size.
Seats sit a little low in the vehicle.
Bought my 200 Intrepid at 180k miles and it is still going strong. I heard that the 3.2 and 3.5L engines were designed by Marcedes and judging by my 3.2L it shows. This car is still going strong. the cd changer went out at around 200k and I did have to replace a few parts on the emmision system at around 220k but that is all it has needed in the six years I have owned it. It is also very roomy and makes for a very comfortable drive on long trips. Hoping to find another with lower miles soon!
Fun to drive
hard to reach bottom of windshield inside to clean
I owned my RT for 4 years and I have driven it for over 125k miles since I bought it. I think it is awesome; good power, good looks, handles very well for a big FWD car, A/C is really cold, and it' been extremely reliable. Other than a radiator and a wheel bearing, all other repairs have been maintenance. Original engine, trans A/C ...could not have gotten a better car. I will keep it running as long as possible, because I really enjoy driving it. MOPAR RULES
Affordable, fun to drive, great looks
Even with just over 170,000 miles on it the car looks great, drives great and is very comfortable for long drives. Drove it across the country a couple years ago had good gas mileage. What I enjoy most about it is it's seemingly endless power. The 3.2 pulls all day, smooth and never runs out of energy. The only downside for a 6'2" guy like me is how low it sits for ingress and egress. But that aside I enjoy this car very much.
