"my fav car"

i have ow this car for 12years, i got this car with 45k, i haven't done any major repairs on it, other than regular oil changes and i replace the timing belt as required at 100k and 200k and hopefully i'll hit the 300k, very comfortable, lots of space, strong engine, i've pull many of my brothers cars with it, even it wasnt made for that but it had no problem doing so. original pait quality poor but i repainted 5yrs ago, now its great.

VS

Critical Review

"Decent car for the starting driver on a budget."

Bought my car back in 2011. I bought the car when it was still driving like new, although I ran into a few inconvenient coincidences that couldn't have been avoided, it was a nice car. The model of the car is infamous for the complex transmission system. If the slightest sign of transmission fluid leaking or gear trouble arises, take it to the shop. If not, your best option is to have the transmission rebuilt or replaced. Overall, I would tell my family, friends, and other people that this is a good car if on a budget. It'll get you from point A to B, it'll do what you tell it, but it needs care.

Shes an excellent car
Pros

Blast to drive, takes the corners excellent.

Cons

paint job, turning radius

I love my Shrek as I call it. That beautiful Island Teal paint color. Engine and tranny has been strong. Never any major problems. Simple things that come with time. Timing belt broke. Nothing my husband couldn't fix at home. My only issue is the paint job. The clear coat starts flaking off. If it didn't cost me a fortune to have her sanded and repainted with that exact color I would keep her forever.

Dodges are useless once they hit 100k
Pros

Comfortable, stylish and a smooth ride.

Cons

Built in obsolescence will bankrupt you!

Just as soon as my 96 Intrepid hit 100k miles, we had to start replacing everything including head gasket, rack and pinion, etc. Transmission is going bad and even the electrical system has a short causing the heat to blow constantly. I will never own another Dodge. Horrible experience! Paint job didn't last either.
