Positive Review
biggest issue ever had: Tranmission overhauled @ 95000 miles. Now 199500 and running strong and smooth. Seems to run better the more I run her... has more issues when she sits for more then a week... @ 14500 out the door price in Jan 1993, I wish I bought 3 of these babys..... love the BIG back doors easy to crawl in the back seat and move around....
Critical Review
This car has had transmission problems all its life, starting from nearly new. Had a total transmission re-build at 70,000 miles for $2500. The ignition switch has had to be replaced about every 20,000 miles. We had frequent expensive repairs starting with the transmission rebuild, then $600 here, $800 there, etc. Every one of the power windows needed repair, weather stripping leaks, trunk leaks (without rust), and even the dealer couldn't make the glove compartment stay closed. The speedometer works if you slap the front of it hard after you get going. The windshield wiper linkages under the dashboard are apparently about to let go, even though we don't live where there's much rain. Had problems with A/C, radiator leaks, and plenty of other things. Has 105,000 miles now and is on its way to the junk yard.

great on gas dependable low miles
Cheap, Smooth, Comfy
The headliners on these car sag with age. Use pins
Runs smooth, shifts smooth, rides smooth. It's not a race car, but she will do 120 easily (3.3 liter). I had to replace the headlight switch, and control arm bushings. Nice paint after 20 years.
This car was my wife's in 93 then my daughters high school car and then my sons high school and three years of college car. He has a newer car now but the dynasty still runs ,Were going to sell it or donate it soon
soft comfy plush interior, reliable, manual windows, fun to drive....good gas mileage
no radio(stolen), more than i thought it was worth,
i have driven my friends Dynasty and i like it, it has a nice comfy plush interior, when cloth interior of cars were soft and noticably cloth unlike the cars im growin up with now! and it is FWD a good car for alaska, a beater with a heater, its missing the radio, but for me if i was to get that car, it would also be a good project car. i would recommend this car to anyone.
I purchased my 93 Dynasty brand new. It still gets 25mpg and I am not looking forward to selling it, but no more room in the garage for it. I felt completely safe in this car and never had any major mechanical issues with it. This is a good family car, four doors, comfy seats and a great ride.
