Positive Review
I bought my caliber in 2007 with 14 miles on it. Now, in 2012, it has a little over 119,000 miles. Great versatility with the drop down speakers off the back hatch, both the back and front seat(s) fold down and with a wide range of repositioning options. We have enjoyed this car. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but I enjoy the size in an overcrowded parking lot and having the small turn radius when needed. I would suggest this car to anyone looking for safety as well. We have been lucky enough to have been in two accidents- none of us were injured mainly due to the solid frame and stability of the vehicle. We have also yet to have any major issues mechanically with the vehicle- just regular maintenance needed. Again, great car, our family is simply growing and must upgrade to a larger vehicle.
Critical Review
Bought this 2007 in 2008 have 60k on it now. It gets 30-33 mpg with an average of 28 mpg, the fuel tank needs to be bigger than 13.5 gals, does have a blind spot on driver side, great for mountain driving, good city car, has neat little storage, My biggest complaint is the noise that comes from the wheel wells. I would give this car to my daughter, but she is four years away from driving. Would have way too many miles on it by then. paid 14,k list now for 7k

Car runs great, has some nicks and scraps, but looks good, all maintenance records are available in glove compartment
Thus car will go on forever and hard to beat for the amount of miles I already got out of it. I haven't had any issues with this model and year car it has proved its loyalty for sure
Still running smoothly. Same motor in it. It’s hard to believe this dodge is still running with this high of a mileage on a 2.0 motor in it.
This was my second car. Bought a caliber base with a five speed manual with 37000 miles on it in late 2014. For just 10k out the door what a deal. Was also in mint condition. I drove it for about 4 years and about 50,000 miles. Just a couple minor issues no big deal.
Great factory rebate+Lifetime Powertrain Warranty.
Hard seats. Cheap interior.
170,000 miles . still running. original engine and transmission. rocker panels rusted out. suspension is shot. A/C doesn't work. got my money's worth from this vehicle though.
Fun to drive, good handling
CVT makes it slow
It's a fun little car I got as a gift, love the early 2000s Dodge Styling. The Performance is okay, I have the 2.0 i4 with CVT. The reliabilty is awesome, no breakdowns whatsoever. The quality is alright, mostly shaky interior plastics. The comfort is normal, not good not bad (unless you hit a pothole). Overall, I love the little thing.
Roomy
Constantly breaking down, money pit, junky radio
Bought this car used several years ago and it's been a complete waste of money. It has spent more time undrivable than drivable. When I first bought it, I ended up back in the shop 2 days after purchase with leaks. My car was soaked inside. It took them more than four months to get it fixed. A few months later I started having check engine light issues. It took several months to fix it correctly. Less than a year later, the intake manifold went out. The windshield wipers stopped working. Then, it started leaking again. BTW, when I say leaking, I'm talking about the whole front driver's and passenger area bring soaked with water any time it rains or snows. The roof, side panels, floor, everything. A few times it rained heavily, the backseat area was also soaked. Avoid this car at all costs. You'd be better off riding a bike. I worked 40 miles away and considered junking this thing and buying anything else at all.
Easy to drive, drivers deat raises up,I am short!!
Very quiet
I do craft shows. Excellent milage. Both back seats and the passenger front seat fold down, giving me plenty of room for my craft boxes.
