Positive Review
Bought the car new, and have been happy with it's performance and mpg. After 6 yrs I'm getting 30+mpg! Only major repair was the air conditioning, but that was just last month. Too bad company went bankrupt and did not continue to manufacture these excellent running vehicles. Parts are available and reasonable. I even had my daughter buy one.
Critical Review
Bought this car new in 2000. VERY hard to get parts. Can't even get a rear wiper blade unless ordered from California because the window is bowed to much. Mortor mounts went bad. Numerous problems with door/dash rattles that can't get fixed. Good pricing when I bought new but not worth the hassle I have had to put up with. Gas mileage great on highway, so-so in city. No power on hills. Would not recommend this car to anybody.

Great to drive and everything is within reach
Back windows are not electric
We purchased this Dae Woo Nubira for a mere $400 and had a few minor cosmetic repairs. Of course over time mechanical repairs are needed. We replaced a steering control arm. it still needs a left front wheel bearing. As far as starting in the cold (-17 below) we have no problem This car has been well maintained. When we take it in for the oil change the oil still looks new and yes the oil pump is working.
surprisingly reliable and extremely inexpensive. 28 mpg. The car was a great find, exceptionally well appointed for an economy priced car. It's comfortable and handles very well. We've loved driving it
Car has good heat and air. Car has an excellent alarm system and also remote starter. only defect is a leak in the window washer liquid container Very good body and inside, good tires, $2000.00 or best offer
Great price, tough little bugger.
Difficulty finding parts.
This isn't bad little car. My mother got it in 2005 for $3000. She's terrible at keeping up with maintenance and it still survived her. During the three years she drove it as the family car, it had only one big issue and it was caused by bad gas. After three years, she bought a different car and the Daewoo went to my brother who thought it was a sports car (really, a wagon?) and shredded the control arms and tires. Once the front lower arms went out he abandoned it for a year in the back yard until I was old enough to drive, then worked to fix it back up. I've been driving it for almost three years now and I love it even with its weird issues. The A/C is out and I haven't had the money to fix it, it's got issues with the control arms, and some odd electrical issues that don't effect performance (flickering of dash lights, the power locks are finicky, and the power button doesn't work). I get 26 MPG in town average and mid-30s on the highway. I'd recommend this to a single person who needs a fairly dependable daily driver.
