The Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price for any individual used vehicle can vary greatly according to mileage, condition, location, and other factors. The prices here reflect what buyers are currently paying for used 2021 Kia Forte models in typical condition when purchasing from a dealership. These prices are updated weekly.

Launched in 2010 and currently in its third generation, the 2021 Forte is a compact sedan from Kia. Designed to give buyers a sweet combination of form and function, the Kia Forte is less sporty than its larger sibling, the Kia Stinger

Aimed at a comfortable passenger experience at an unbeatable price, the 2021 Kia Forte joins a solid class of compact sedans. While some heavy hitters, like the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and the Honda Civic, remain class leaders, the Forte shines with modern styling and abundant value-added features.

KBB Review Highlights

Replacing the Kia Spectra in 2010, the Kia Forte is the Korean automaker’s answer to the small car question. Known for its modern good looks, sporty styling, and easy-to-access features, the Kia Forte offers buyers a nicely equipped option at a brilliant price point. Fully refreshed in 2019, the 2021 model carries over the updates from that spruce-up. In 2020, the Forte added the GT and GT-Line trims to the roster to give drivers the fun boost and amped-up power they crave.

With a spacious interior and a nice mix of convenience and safety features, the 2021 Kia Forte is available in five trims and two engine options. Aimed at efficiency rather than power, the FE, LXS, GT Line, and EX use a 2.0-liter inline-4 that hovers around the bottom third of the class with 147 horsepower. The Forte GT gets a turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers 201 hp, comparable to the class-leading Honda Civic Si at 205. All models use front-wheel drive.

For the 2021 model year, more safety and convenience options from previous generations are standard across the trim lines. Easy infotainment access and smartphone integration through the 8-inch touchscreen is now standard across the lineup. Soft-touch fabrics, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, and an updated speaker sound system are also standard. The EX-trim gets a powered sunroof, wireless charging, and a stellar Harman Kardon sound system. The GT trim gets power-adjustable driver’s seating, rear parking sensors, pedestrian detection, and forward-collision avoidance. Vegan leather is also an option across the trim lines.

Offering a generous bang-for-your-buck combination, the 2021 Kia Forte brings a comfortable drive that is well-equipped for the price.
