Chrysler Certified Pre-Owned
Like other Stellantis brands (Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo) in the U.S., Chrysler dealers may participate in three tiers of certified pre-owned programs. The top tier, Chrysler Certified Pre-Owned, is for vehicles up to five years old with under 75,000 miles on the clock. These vehicles undergo a 125-point inspection and come with a vehicle history report showing a clean title.
CPO Chrysler vehicles come with a 3-month/3,000-mile Maximum Care Warranty and a 7-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Warranty. The Maximum Care Warranty begins at the expiration of the new-car warranty or on the date of used-car purchase, whichever is later. Chrysler calculates the Powertrain Warranty from the car’s original in-service date. A deductible applies against warranty repairs.
All CPO Chrysler vehicles come with a complimentary 3-month trial of SiriusXM and 24/7 roadside assistance during the Maximum Care warranty period, with a limit of $100 per occurrence. Chrysler has special financing programs for certified used vehicles and runs frequent specials.
Chrysler Go Certified Pre-Owned
Chrysler Go Certified Pre-Owned cars are a little older and have had more use: Six to 10 years old and with up to 120,000 miles, or up to five years old with 75,001 to 120,000 miles. They undergo the same inspection and reconditioning process as the top-tier vehicles and get a vehicle history report.
The Chrysler Go Certified Pre-Owned vehicles get the same 3-month/3,000 mile Maximum Car Warranty and benefits as the top-tier CPO cars, but no additional powertrain warranty.
SPOTiCAR
Stellantis has an online market for its brand’s used cars, SPOTiCAR. The used Chrysler vehicles in this program are up to 10 years old with fewer than 120,000 miles on the odometer. They get a 3-month/3,000-mile limited warranty, three months of roadside assistance, a complimentary 3-month trial of SiriusXM, a vehicle history report, and rental car reimbursement during necessary warranty repairs.
