Acura Precision Certified

Acura is Honda’s luxury brand, inheriting some of the mainstream marque’s best qualities, including reputations for reliability, durability, and value. These virtues contribute to a used Acura’s desirability, and the Acura Precision Certified program enhances that.

Used Acura vehicles six years old or younger with fewer than 80,000 miles on the clock can qualify for the program after passing an 182-point inspection by trained Acura technicians. Shoppers can download and review the inspection report for Precision Certified cars. Once qualified, Precision Certified cars come with powertrain coverage that extends the new car coverage to seven years from the original date of service or 100,000 total miles, whichever comes first, and a limited warranty that extends the new car warranty by two years (beginning at the expiration of the new vehicle limited warranty or the date of sale if the new car warranty has already expired) or 100,000 total miles, whichever comes first.

Precision Certified cars get two years from purchase or 100,000 total miles in service (whichever comes first) of Acura Roadside Assistance. The first scheduled maintenance for a Precision Certified car is free, within one year or 12,000 miles. Vehicles with an AcuraLink system get three months of a trial subscription free.

Acura Precision Used

Though not as robust as the Precision Certified program, the Acura Precision Used program offers significant benefits on a used Acura. Currently, used 2015 to 2025 model-year Acura vehicles with no mileage limit qualify for consideration. Vehicles undergo a 112-point inspection by an Acura Certified Technician. If they pass, they receive six months or 7,500 miles of limited warranty and powertrain coverage, along with one year and 12,000 miles of Acura Roadside Assistance. Acura includes a complimentary oil change within the first year of ownership.

Shared Benefits

A $0 deductible applies for covered repairs under warranty. Concierge service is included during the warranty period. A complimentary 3-month trial to SiriusXM comes with purchase. Trip Interruption Expense Reimbursement covers the warranty period. Acura maintains a 7-day exchange policy on all Precision Certified and Precision Used vehicles. If you change your mind about your purchase, you can exchange your car for another used vehicle in dealer stock if you haven’t put more than 300 miles on the odometer and the vehicle is in the same condition as when it left the lot.
