Positive Review
I have this van and absolutely LOVE it! I have one son who plays cello, I'm always doing home improvement projects, and I'm always the one who drives kids and co-workers because everyone can fit comfortably. I've taken cross country trips and everyone has been comfortable. I've only had to do regular maintenence and I'm not diligent about it. The only think that has broken are both rear captain seat cup holders because my kids aren't careful with backpacks, etc. The storage under back seats is great for hiding xmas stuff.

Reliable, comfortable and accomodatimg
N/A
I have owned a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country for more than 12 years and love it. The drive is fantastic, comfortable and very accommodating. Highly recommended
my 2006 has been a super reliable auto. At 142 k miles, a/c works great! so far, I replaced radiator, fixed freon leak in back passenger section, replaced 2 front axles and struts, and still need to redo brakes. p.s. the cassete player started eating tapes, but radio works great! So far, much cheaper to fix, than pay stupid car payments. Also, if martial law gets declared in U.S., can my car get shut off electronically by deep state bad actors?
Reliability
Style is passé, but it is a minivan.
I’d buy another one if it still fitted my needs, but it doesn’t really. However, it is still reliable after a mere 170k miles. Every little option still works. My wife had the same sentiment for a big girl car, and now it’s the dad van. I’m cool enough to pull it off even though I am past normal retirement age.
Bought new and still driving 16 years later. I'm 57 y.o. and this is the most trouble free vehicle I have owned. Stow and Go is great. Not real sporty but extremely functional and reliable. Only problem I've encountered was a sagging headliner 2 years ago.
Lots of power, room and stow-n-go seating for 7.
Rockers rusted out. We live in Northern Wisconsin
Since I retired, my wife wanted me to upgrade to a "newer" car, which we did. However, I love my "Silver Bullet". It has plenty of speed, runs like a charm, hauls the whole family (and then some) and with the stow-n-go seating, I can haul a ton of things, including my 6' long rc plane. I have a trailer hitch too, and I never had a problem hauling my ATV trailer or pontoon boat. I am going to miss this vehicle.
3.8 liter engine is a great motor at 219,000 it doesn't even burn oil. Runs great on the highway and transmission is strong the outside of the vehicle will fall apart around the motor before the motor gives out!
20 mpg
Costly breakdowns
But my 2005 Limited with 63,000 miles on it. The transmission went out yesterday at 148,000. And then another time I was stranded twice. Once a camshaft sensor went out and had it towed to the dealer that was $400. Another time my caliper stuck on the front brakes seized up for being so hot in that front brake job or $750. I put a $800 power steering rack in it. I had to put two new front struts. And of course all your normal alternator battery starter. Overall it was a fairly good vehicle and never left me stranded except for those two times. It’s too bad the transmission went out because the motor which was 3.8 L ran great.
Cheap nowadays, comfy,
My mom got one in 2010, and since she bought a new car, it's now my first car. It's not super flattering, but it's comfy and it's going strong. It's only broke down once the entire time my family's had it. You can get one for pretty cheap nowadays and they're worth it. And I only have the base model.
