Positive Review
These are good vehicles, they run well, are cheap to get parts for, easy to work on, get decent MPG, but still handle nicely and can be fun. Not many problems with the tops or any of that, i haven't been disappointed.
Critical Review
The first six months I had this car were awesome but after that it was all downhill. At a little over 60000 miles the transmission started acting up. I had to replace the glass back window twice from it getting broken out. The motor on the convertible top seized up and had to be replaced to the tune of $800. One of the back windows quit rolling down. I got a shower every time it rained and I had to be very careful when washing the car so it didn't flood the inside. I suffered through 2 more years with the car before I finally gave up and traded it in for a Neon. Not nearly as cool, but a much better car.

I love this car wow what comfort and drives like a champ!! For being older than my little sister this car looks and still feels like a champ, grant it I never drove it to far;)
Car has low mileage and brand new convertible top, new tires. Silver in color, inside upholstery gray.
good value, not all 'plasticy like the mustangs of
only one holder in the ashtray!!!
I purchased this car in 1995, only one year old. it has been one of the best little cars I've ever owned! No major issues, just the usual, tires, brakes, oil change. recently my son installed a new starter, alternator, serpentine belt, and battery. There just isn't anything I can say bad about it. I have driven many times to FLorida and back to Indiana, no problems. It's comfortable, very easy to drive, and people still give me compliments on it. i did have fanciers rims put on a couple of years ago, and a new interior headliner. I also have a a 208 Lincoln towncar, and in all honesty, 'I like driving the little chrysler much better. I am a 70 year old woman, now, and will keep it until the end!!
Reliable, fun to drive, timeless style
Does not stop on a dime
I have owned my 1995 Chrysler Lebaron LX Convertible for almost 15 years now. This has been a great car that has only left me stranded for a dead battery. It has run excellent and just had it's first tune up. I replaced the water pump and timing belt a couple years back. The car still has an idle so quiet you wonder if it is running. The only bad thing I can say is that it does not stop on a dime. I was told by many people not to buy this car and it has proved them all wrong. I am at 155k and it is still going strong. Again...Best Car Ever! I have had less trouble with it than my "high end" Volvo. Dollar for dollar this car whips it everyday and twice on Sunday!
Great for a first car, good handling, pretty fast.
convertible top motor stuck occasionaly
If you are willing to deal with keeping up with this car on a regular basis, it will treat you with mutual love and it'll last forever. I drove mine to Wyoming and back and didn't have any problems. It seems to have suspension problems more than any other problems, but nothing is hard to fix on these. Seriously, I will drive this car until it is completely dead. I love my lebaron. I am very attached to it.
Saves on gas, fun to drive, cheap.
none.
It's the best car i've ever had, couldn't ask for a better one. reliable, dependable, and overall perfect. Buy this car.
I bought the car in 1996 - I am the second owner. I had to have the transmission replaced about 6 years ago and I had to have the drivers side door hinge replaced once and re-welded once as the doors are so very heavy. I've always felt safe in my car because of the heavy doors. It has plenty of power and I love the way it takes the curves.
