Positive Review
This is my road-trip car for many reasons. I've religiously kept up with maintenances, and it's obviously paid off. From tank to tank I AVERAGE 28.5 miles per gallon, in this "FULL SIZE luxury sedan;" and when it's dropped (to say 24.5mpg), I have been able to figure out why. The car has as built-in (factory/original) diagnostics system, which is very helpful. My fuel mileage & maintenance record keeping has (also) allowed me to catch "repair people's" tricks too; like a dealership's "free alignment check." (there's a reason it's free.) I've bought & sold many-many cars over the years, but there are many reasons that I've kept this one since new. Do your research on how long certain parts and assemblies last, and when maintenance is due (like the timing belt). Also...when I'm not driving it, it's parked in my air conditioned garage; where I detail it regularly -including the engine, to prevent dry-rotting & cracking) This is how my Chrysler 300m is still running like-new past 280,000 miles (original motor, trans, drivetrain & et cetera). oh! tip: don't let the gas gauge get under an eighth of a tank; and if you see a fuel-tank truck at a gas station (adding pumping into the ground or a tank), go to another gas station: to avoid dirty fuel (or sedatives stirring around) in your fuel system. People are always saying (to me) "this is a really nice car." -and I've got nothing but compliments to say about it. The Chrysler 300m is a brilliant car, and I absolutely love it!
Critical Review
Well, these models are overpriced, and are practically useless when you want to get rid of it. Most repairs are costly and complicated (radiator has to be removed under the car).

Non-interferance timing belt that lasts 105K miles
Its very difficult to find these cars for sale!
I have owned two; both were 2004 models. This car was not changed from '99 to '04. My first was totaled when a young woman ran a stop sign while talking on her cell. I was completely protected due to the excellent "Cab Forward" designed safety features. All the air bags deployed perfectly and the seat belts worked as they were designed. I went from 35mph to zero in 18 ft. and I walked away. I'm still driving my second one on my daily 66 mile commute to work. The highway comfort is fantastic, the sound system is great and the heated seats are wonderful when I have an occasional back ache. It is possibly the largest front wheel drive sedan ever made and it handles great in the snow. This car is not as fast as a Hemi but the 3.5L high output scoots very nicely when you want to. The Autostick is a fun performance feature but I rarely use it. The car has great acceleration when needed. The car were all built fully loaded and the only option was the moonroof. If you are over 6' 2", a 300m without the moonroof will give you an extra 2" of headroom, but they are extremely hard to find.
comfortable,a/c, power steering all the extras
Honestly an not think of any as sole owner
can not find any thing that's problem or that I don't like about it.I have been a single owner and loved it from the day I bought it. Just getting too old to drive. The leather heated seats are a plus!
Beautiful style, very comfortable

Great driving, luxury ride
Low interior head and low ground clearance!
This car is luxury. It was easy to drive and feel safe and sound in it. Inside design is beautiful and seats are comfortable. The functions - cruise control, radio, volume - on the driving wheel is awesome and very convenient. The trunk has lots of space and easy to place many things inside. Sound system is on point, AC substantial, gets everywhere and so does heat. Heated seats and the tilting angle of backrest is like 160-170 degrees almost like a bed! This car turns corners smoothly, without a flick. The only design flaws are the head clearance was somewhat short and made for a impeded vision through the windshield, while the car is very low and rather hard for taller people to get out of. Lots of work to get to engine parts as it was tightly compact so mechanics took a long time to get to certain parts to replace. This car is wonderful for cross country road trips!! I enjoy owning this car and would buy another.
Nice Looking and Very Reliable American Car!
City gas mileage is about 20 & HWY about 25
If you take care of this car with regular oil changes, recommended maintenance, keeping it clean/polished, and respectfully driving it (not treating it like a race car, jumping curbs/speedbumps, and other damaging driving habits), this car will last and will be very reliable. Engine Power, acceleration, handling (corning/stability), AC/heating, seating comfort, and interior roominess/leg room, are above average to exceptional. I am the second owner and have been driving and maintaining this handsome 300m for over 10 years. I have had no major mechanical break downs. The only unexpected maintenance costs I've had was having to replace the car door locks. They still worked but one or more was making a loud buzz/screech noise. The couple I purchased the vehicle from did all recommended maintenance (provided all the maintenance documentation) of the vehicle and took good care of it. I have followed the same maintenance practices and the vehicle is still in awesome condition (engine, transmission, original paint (kept under shade or garaged to keep it in good condition), and interior dashboard, electronics, carpet, and leather seats still work perfectly/look almost new (driver's seat, left side as you enter the vehicle, does show wear/discoloration but it is not torn and still in decent shape). These are the reasons why this vehicle received accolades and was Car Of The Year - MotorTrend.
This car is a rare gem and looks a lot newer!
Can't haul hay for my horse in it.
This car is in rare condition and the mileage is not indicative of its quality. It was mainly driven highway and freeway miles to work as both the previous owner & myself live 75 miles from the nearest big city. It has power everything, 1-yr old paint job and windshield, heated driver's seat, leather seats without a mark on them, sunroof, both cd and cassette players that work perfectly, tires are in perfect condition, and has always been garaged by both the previous owner and myself. It runs great and both the air conditioner and heater work great. I love this car and hate to sell it but don't need 2 vehicles. I also own a truck to pull my horse trailer and must keep it.
This is the best car I have owned, it just keeps on going.
Great Quality
Cup holder in the way of the shifter.
We bought this from a friend who's daughter didn't take very good care of it. There was an intake leak that caused the rod to get bent in the engine. So when I bought it, I towed it home and tore the entire engine out and rebuilt it top to bottom as if it were new. I am so glad I did. New brakes and some new tires, and off we go for a 600 miles break-in. New everything, but when I handed it over to my wife, she took it on a ride to Nashville and back- No issues. Off to S. Dakota, sweet ride at 85+. Not a drop of oil. Yes, if I could afford it, I would buy a new 300 in a New York Second.
