Positive Review
I really like driving this car. I can put the seat up higher because I am shorter. It's super easy to drive, clear window views, my dog likes the back seat because he is up higher. Gas mileage is good, and great 7-seat family car, all seats can be taken out for hauling. Lots of space up front with right arm rest.
Critical Review
Mechanical issues - right rear passenger door never works properly, even after having the motor replaced (at an expense of $1500). Right front turn lamp goes out about every 3 months. Back hatch locked and would not unlock. Had to have it drilled out and replaced ($1000). Right two wheel bearings make odd grinding/whining noise and have been replaced twice. If you are thinking of an uplander - big mistake!

size of cargo space
not loving the sliding doors but you can not have everything you want
I traded in my 2012 passenger car on this 2007 van on with intention of van camping, got a great trade in on my car plus little cash, and so the adventure began built a temporary bed box with storage, the van was a cargo van 62000 miles , the big plus, I did not have remove seats, it was a clean slate for me to work on, equipped with my supplies I have now gone out on 3 camping trips from 6 weeks to my last trip in 2024 planning my 2025 trip to florida and eastern coast states the van has been a jewel in my travels. so glad I found it.
It rides good drives good
Just hard on finding some parts because of the short time that the Uplander was built
I got my Uplander 4 years ago I have $272,000 plus miles but now the motor and the transmission needs to be rebuilt my mechanics have found difficult for some parts and I am in look for another vehicle I prefer a Chevy on an overhaul I've been very well pleased with this vehicle.
Reliability
Seats heavy to remove
Currently has 340k miles and owned it for the last 240k. Kept up w basic maintenance you would expect and easy and nice to drive. Rear seats are acceptable and heavy to remove. Ive towed all sorts of boats and trailers and would definetly get it again due to the reliability even though not the fanciest. Ive been happy with this one.
Cheap, Dependable, Comfortable, Rugged
Hard parking, Feels like it's gliding, Not fast
The Postal Service is retiring many, MANY, of these 2-seater Uplander Cargo vans, and they're going for $5000 right now on average with around 40,000 to 60,000 miles on the odometers at used car dealers. Very inexpensive to maintain, will do all sorts of different work, and can trailer some serious loads, some individuals have reported hauling over 3000 pounds safely. Not pretty, but no true work truck ever is, and that's what you should view this as, it will make its money back in no time.
Good car all round . Keeps running all year round. Is a good keeper and very spacious. Very easy to maintain. Oil change only .No major issues
Practical
This mini van can haul large trailers with thousands of pounds on it like nothing, to my surprise. This vehicle was a well put together van and had always been reliable. Seats up to seven people or has removable back seats for transporting large items.
easy handling, comfortable

No pros
uncomfortable and tippy
The wheels go around. Bought it used and the glove box latch broke soon after purchase, the seats are uncomfortable, especially for the passengers, there are zero bells and whistles. The driver window squawks and is expected to quit any day. But it starts and mostly runs and gets us from point a to point b. We do not use it for enjoying a ride like the previous 56 years in fear of too many miles causing a breakdown again. Sad vehicle.
