Positive Review
Really like the car, but with only 11 3/4" in center of the 2nd row you cannot fit a child seat or even a child there. Seat buckles will not move. Try it before you buy it. Should of gotten the bucket seats. Really do not think this is an 8 passenger vehicle.
Critical Review
My Traverse has been a nightmare. I only have 85,000 miles on it and it has been the dealership 5 times for major repairs. Timing Belt replacement, transmission went out, engine cover leaking oil, etc. The latest nightmare is my power steering has locked up and I now need a new pump and gears to the tune of $1,200. Look online about the steering problems before you buy this lemon.

Spacious, safe, reliable
Bought this when we were expecting our third child. Knew we needed something that could comfortably fit 3 booster/car seats. And since we drive cars into the ground, we wanted room to grow into. 11 years later, this car is still going strong. It has lots of space to fit baseball and softball equipment and even a potty seat for when there’s no bathrooms at the field. With the added tow hitch and roof rack, we’re able to take a full car of 7 passengers, their bags and our trailer without losing any comfort or leg room. This car had a couple recalls for minor issues. Other than that, this car has been low maintenance. Regular tune-ups have kept it running without worry. There hasn’t been a day in the last 11 years that I regretted this purchase!

great in snow; reliable
seats could use another inch of cushioning
low on bells and whistles drives great seat comfort: B- Storage space: A+ 3rd row legroom: B+ Never had it in the shop for anything beyond expected maintenance. Transmission started going out at 125,000 miles, so traded.
Our traverse is 10.5 years old and is still running very well with 130,000 miles on it. We keep up with the maintenance and take care of it. The engine and the transmission are in great shape. We are hoping to get at least three more years out of it.
lots of space and looks good
none
I bought this car new in 2015, was a 2014 and had it until 2023, never had any mechanical issues, and it had space for 7 which was great since I take the grandkids on trips with us.
Other than basic upkeep and regular maintenance I have had no issues with my traverse. I would recommend it. The most reliable vehicle I have owned.
We love our traverse and have had it for several years and have loved this car for its dependability
Our Chevy Traverse has been very dependable, no major repairs or replacements. It is roomy but not exceptionally comfortable for long trips. The dependability outweighs the comfort aspect.
