Positive Review
I've owned a lot of SUVs. International Scout, Chevy suburban's, Tahoe, Dodge Durango. I bought this 2005 LT on the trip to NJ. I needed a car and saw it for sale with about 58,000. It was very clean in nice condition. I was just looking for something to fill the gap temporarily. It turned out, outside of the bad fuel mileage I really like it. I had to replace the front wheel bearings into water pumps and the normal breaks in shock absorbers. But it is comfortable on long trips like 5000 mile trips. I tow boat that weighs about 4500 pounds. could use more power going up steep hills. But it does it all and you feel very secure in it. I really like the automatic 4 Wheel dive for bad weather. But the low range even works well when you need it. It's just a good vehicle.
Critical Review
Bought Chevorlet 05 Trailblazer Ext during Chevy's "Pay the same as an employee" promotion in the Fall of 2005. I have driven it cross country 2 times between South to Pacific NW since I've had it moving my family. It has been an "OK" Vehicle with minimal problems. Compared to other vehicles at the time it was a good deal. By biggest (CONS) issues with this model are: The wind noise. I don't have a clue why I didn't notice it as much when I test drove it, but as I continue to make my monthly payments, the noise gets louder....and louder... Also, there seems to be a systemic problem with the trailblazer making a "humming noise". There is an idler pully that wears out on the model after about 40-50K miles. Chevy's response is to bring it in and let one of our trianed professionals repair it-- (not a recall) oh, and that will be about $200. My local shop repaired ours for about $37.50. We have enjoyed it as far as confort, smooth riding, and touring (with up to 7 passengers). I would recommend if a good value, but with all things being equal, recommend something with a little more power (ours had the in-line 6 cylinder).

I got a great deal on it...bought it from a co-worker (who flipped cars on the side) about 8 years ago with 86k mi. Today it sits at 176k. Thing is a beast! The straight 6 engines in these are super reliable. Normal routine maint. and just fix what needs help and you'll be golden. Runs smooth...we've taken multiple family trips and the wife uses it daily for school drop offs soccer practice..etc. She loves it, NEVER has left us stranded. My only gripe is the quality of the interior plastics..center arm rest console broke/wobbly..some bezel trim bits broke but that was usual for GM of this era. If you find a good decent one...snag it! Just like anything else with good upkeep they go for a loong time...
Safe vehicle, runs great and handles well
Seatbelt holders
I bought mine used. It handles well and has been a great vehicle. It came with lots of extras that I have really enjoyed. Great in winter. 4wd.

Really I don't know if I have any
My Trailblazer has 225400 miles on it I can't say enough for it,I bought it used in 2017,for2,500 hundred dollars I've only put tires, new brakes and general maintenance,I hope to drive it another 100,000 miles I love my Trailblazer
This vehicle is in excellent condition. You could say it was “owned by a little ole lady from Pasadena!” It has a full tank of gas and ready to go!
Nothing
Everything
At 80k I had to replace the starter, wheel bearing, alt, radiator, entire braking system, suspension. At 100k I'm taking it to the junkyard as the doors won't close, nothing electric works, doesn't drive straight. Many more it never ends with the piece of junk. Goodby GMC and good riddance. Less than one star.
Very reliable and comfortable drive.
Gas mileage.
Honestly the most reliable vehicle I ever owned. I had the 4.2 in line six for wheel drive. I used it for work and a daily driver, and had almost 300000 miles on it. I wrecked it in 2021 and now drive a 2015 Malibu. Not a day goes by when I do not miss my trailblazer. If you find one in good condition it is definitely worth the buy. Used it for pulling trailers and for driving the trails as well. Used it in Missouri and Minnesota.
I hauled my family all over the country and never broke down. sold it at 205000 miles and she still ran.
Is a good condition, inside and outside. Has 4 new Michellin Tire, Good percormance and perfect condition.
