Positive Review

"Second Tahoe"

I must admit that I have mixed feelings on my purchase. With only 650 miles I have had service as at highway speeds I had vibrations and the passenger seat electronics are bad and needed to order parts, a little concerned with only 650 miles and this wasn't an inexpensive purchase. My past Tahoe ran like a champ with 165,000 miles, my only reason for getting rid of it was it had an oil leak, rear main.

"LTZ Magnetic Suspension Problems"

My 4x4 LTZ Tahoe drives like it is on a railroad track. With extensive experience driving the older LTZ Tahoes and Suburbans, I can tell you the ride quality on the 15 LTZ is completely lacking. I purchased this car because of the premium, magnetic suspension, and I have been thoroughly disappointed, as the ride is unbearably harsh. I am almost contemplating trading this car in unless GM fixes this, as I cant imagine driving this thing for another 5+ years. I must say GM did do a fine job with the refresh overall though. I just wish the ride was much more comfortable.

Lemon - Will never buy a Chevy again.
Pros

Great vehicle when running.

Cons

Mechanical failures galore.

Bought this vehicle used, with 115,000 miles on it. It wasn't driven much (stepson took it to school and back), but 6 months later the transmission died. Another 6 months and the engine died. I have driven other brands (e.g. Toyota) that go hundreds of thousands of miles with very little problems (routine maintenance was adhered to), so I can't understand why in this day and age Chevy can't figure out how to make quality products...

Cons

Mechanical Failures

I bought this car from a Chevy Dealership used with 72k on it. Fuel eco was good on freeways. then comes the dreaded 100k mark. AC and Transmission broke. Ended up costing 7k after everything. I've never seen so many reviews about bad transmissions on a car. Take this as a warning and avoid this vehicle unless if it specifically comes with a warranty or already had these parts replaced and has a transferable warranty on the parts.

Transmission needs replaced at 90K miles

2020 chevy tahoe Lt Super comfy, great ride, but will be spending over $4,000 to rebuild transmission under 100K miles.... they don't make or price them like they used to!

Pros

Nice looking vehicle

Cons

Not enough room for tall passengers. Poor quality

OEM parts are expensive. These vehicles do not compare in quality to Toyota! The radios give problems in these models. Screen goes blank for no reason.

2019 Tahoe
Pros

Great in snow. Very sturdy.

Cons

Bad transmission

Great in the snow but after 100,000 miles things seem to break. Had to replace a wheel bearing, transmission, windows all have leaks. Loved the car in the beginning, gas mileage is not that great, but would not purchase again. For the price we paid for the vehicle I would expect it to last a lot longer.
