What Owners are Saying About the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Regular Cab
"Best Truck I've Owned Yet"
"My 2019 Silverado 3500 HD with the Gas 6.0 has been a great truck so far. I've had it since it was new, I broke it in following the instructions in the owners manual and I've been very happy with it. I bought it as my old truck couldn't pull my 5th wheel. Fully loaded I'm pushing about 10,000 pounds. This truck handles the 5th wheel with ease. I went from a 1/2 ton to the 1 ton and the difference is night and day. The truck works hard, it goes easy down the road, and it's been a joy to tow with it. I do wish it had a little more getup and go when towing, however, I'm not drag racing and the diesel undoubtedly would be fulfill what I feel I'm lacking. I'm not saying it doesn't go, once you get into the sweet spot at the higher rpm's she like to go! I'm also impressed with how the truck handles towing going through the hilly and windy terrain of ND. It performs flawlessly every time. The temps stay low on the mechanicals, the cooled seats are so nice during the hot summer months, and the truck is very comfortable. One little thing that surprised me was when I went to back in to hitch up my 5th wheel. I can see the hitch plane as day when I go to line it up. I just turn my head and there it is. It was a nice little surprise that my F150 didn't offer. The box seems to be lower and the back window is bigger on the Silverado where you can see the hitch perfectly. This has been especially helpful when I'm setting up to go. It's actually taken a lot of time out of the equation which is always a plus! Another thing I love is that I haven't had to modify or change anything. On the F150 I had airbags, 10 ply tires, a RoadMaster Active Suspension installed and those helped, nothing compared to the factory everything the Silverado came with. I realize this isn't an apples to apples comparison to my previous truck. The F150 I had just wasn't equipped to do what I needed it to do. Overall, the Silverado 3500 is a good truck. I enjoy having it, my kids love it, they always want to take the truck. If you're looking for a hardworking, stylish, and overall reliable truck the 3500 is a great choice!"
"Totally surprising truck"
"Originally bought this truck to pull our 5th wheel RV . But over the last 3 years I have used it to get back and forth to work, pull the RV and tow other trailers. Never once had any doubt about what the Duramax engine would do and put many Dodge and Ford dually pickup to shame pulling my trailer up hills. It has never given me one reason to regret buying it. Have heard how rough they ride, well I have owned every make of full size American pick up and it rides great. And gas mileage is equal to them all. And as far as price I found it to be better priced than Ford or Dodge which I feel are far over priced for their flash and lack of gas. Just felt that for the money it was the best value for what you got."
"Fantastic Vehicle- never expected so much comfort."
"Replaced my 2013 2500HD with this vehicle and this truck is even better, power, style, comfort- love it. Looking forward to my 2021 High Country coming soon."
