Positive Review
Finally, a perfect match! The 6.2L 420hp option mates so well with the new 10 speed. Power, comfort, convenience, reliability. Best truck Chevy built since 2012 Silverado’s.
Critical Review
I have a 2019 silverado rst let's start here been in the shop for months and general motors isn't any help it's a joke! Here is a list of parts already replaced torque converter,16 qt of trans fluid flushed, trans control module and still not fixed. full exhaust, abs unit, brake master eco boost module and abs pump and abs module again and still have very little brakes or total brake failure 4 times and can't stop. two flash up dates for brake's. One window regulator the pass needs one to.a radio that works when it wants to. Interior trim falls apart. dr seat frame replaced seat wont move, SO IF YOU LIKE TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND WANT A UNSAFE UNRELIABLE TRUCK THAT GENERAL MOTORS WONT BACK THERE PRODUCT AND KNOWS THESE TRUCKS HAVE THESE PROBLEMS AND IS ALL OVER THE INTERNET WITH LAW SUITS AND ACTS LIKE YOU ARE CRAZY THEN OFFERS YOU MUD FLAPS FOR YOUR INCONVENIENCE FOR A TRUCK YOU CANT DRIVE TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER ABOUT A VERY VERY POOR DECISION I MADE BUYING THIS TRUCK THEN THIS TRUCK IS FOR YOU!! AND I HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE WHATS BEEN GOING ON OR JUST GOOGLE IT AND SEE FOR YOUR SELF.

Fuel economy, interior styling for year, tailgate functionality and trailering cameras
Oil pump belt maintenance at 150K miles. Under seat storage
Someone finally created a full-size truck with great fuel economy for the person who drives a lot, needs a truck. But not a HD truck. This is perfect fit with my Duramax 3.0L.
IN GOOD SHAPE GOOD TIES GOOD PAINT NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
This truck is a ZR1 with "Special" paint that I paid extra for. It has 41000 miles. Tell me this truck isn't worth more money.
Off road capability and fuel economy/range
Harder to get in and out of than normal pickup without sidesteps
I have a 2024 ZR2 with 3.0L DuraMax diesel. I have 13K on it with no issues. Fuel economy is incredible for a full size off road truck. Overall average is 22 MPG and can get 30 MPG on flat terrain hiway with no wind at 70 MPH. My 2023 ZR2 with 6.2L averaged 15 MPG and required 93 octane which is $0.30-0.40/gal higher than diesel. I had no issues at 40K with 2023, just didn’t like fuel economy/range of 6.2L. 3.0L DuraMax in my 2024 uses 1 gal DEF every 800-900 miles. Goes through sand, mud, and snow off road. 33” tires and 2” factory lift, manual front and rear lockers, and Multimactic DVSS shocks make it an off road beast. It is also good on normal high ways. I use it in my work and love the ZR2 trim
None
Everything
2020 custom trailboss all together 3 transmissions installed and still multiple problems, water pump issues, electrical issues including radio always turning off. Horn works when it wants to. Randomly turn signals turn on with vehicle off. By far worst vehicle I’ve ever owned. I will never buy another Chevy pickup ever again
Very quiet for a diesel and great gas mileage for size of truck.
Have touse DEF in it.
I purchased a diesel Silverado 1500 for towing my camper.
The best features and performance
Expensive -- Like the competitors
My 2024 Chevy Silverado LTZ 5.3L crew cab truck provides the combination of great features and reliable technology, in addition to an awesome leather interior that looks like it belongs in an uplevel Cadillac. The 5.3L v8 dynamic fuel management engine and 10 speed transmission provide a smooth yet powerful feel, which allows the "skip fire" engine to operate with as little as 2 cylinders under light load conditions. This system keeps all cylinders lubed and warm to prevent previous technology pitfalls while delivering excellent fuel economy (up to 25mpg). This keeps the "gismo" engine / system tricks of the other brands out of this truck. Additionally, I believe this LTZ is the best-looking full-size truck in the GM (and many competitive brand) lineups. The looks, features, interior room and fuel economy are all best of class. If you are looking for one, don't mess around find one with premium features. You will not be disappointed.
comfort, versitility
could use a little more power
2019 Trail Boss 5.3 LT 20" wheel model. Truck now has 52k miles on it so a good time to write a review I think. First couple years yes it was at the dealer ship every 3-4 months it seemed... wrong trans fluid from the factory causing trans slip feeling, oil cooler lines leaked in cold weather, brake system software update, 4 fuel injectors had to be replaced on Bank B but all taken care of under warranty and no problems at all for the last 30k miles. Added a KN cold air intake which I do recommend. Bose factory sound system is awesome and the most quiet cab at highway speeds I have ever had in a truck and I have had several. I think its a great truck and since I put a black TSC toolbox on the bed it really is a looker get compliments all the time. I'm hopeful I get to write another good review on this same truck at 150k miles.
