What Owners are Saying About the 1993 Chevrolet S10 Extended Cab
"Best Investment"
"When I bought my 1992 S10 new it had 11 miles on it. This truck has survived 24 Minnesota winters and has never let me down. Both my children learned how to drive a stick thanks to this truck. It has been a great truck for us. I hope that in the future GM brings back this vehicle."
"Good truck for it's price, but mine breaks often"
"I've had my 1993 S10 for 4 years so far (2016-2020) I bought it used for $1500. It ran with no issues for the first three years, but in the last year I have had to fix/replace: Engine Mounts, Tire Bushings, Ignition Coil, (4!!!) starters, a seized AC compressor, water pump, power steering pump, leaky exhaust manifold, and that's just what I remember off the top of my head. It has other age-related issues, but those would be common with any car of a comparable age. In my experience, it's been a good car, and has a lot of utility being a small pickup truck. It's easy to move furniture but also good enough on gas to be my daily driver in-town. The downside is (in my experience) once it starts showing its age by breaking down, everything falls apart at once."
"FUN"
"I have a '91 with 285,000 miles on it and she still purrs like a kitten! Rust is a problem and the bed was replaced, but with regular maintenece this truck will last. I 'm pushing for 400,000 miles! At least!"
