Positive Review

"Minor design flaws but 100% reliable"

This vehicle has never been anywhere but Wyoming, until I recently moved to Pennsylvania. I took it up all the back roads an made my own trails. Gas mileage it does quite well, 25highway 17.5 in town. Getting stuck was rare but she never stayed stuck for long. Push button four wheel drive design is a terrible design I also don't like where the oil filter is. you have to remove your air intake to get to it. Easy to do but unnecessary work. Wyoming uses a lot of salt which does no justice for old metal vehicles. Has a new Transmission and refurbished engine. It's not the greatest vehicle out there but it's far from the worst. Blazer will get you where you need to go and back.

A one owner car from purchase.
Pros

Would drive anywhere w/heater fixed. AC is ok!

Cons

Some repairs needed but includes parts for same!

New battery, fairly new tires, runs really well. Needs heater coil replacement and drivers outside door handle replacement. Have all replacement parts already worth nearly $300 as part of package. In addition, have a new dash mounted blower for both heater and AC. Ac is still functional. 4WD is still functional though hard to shift from 4wd to 2wd. Have been using in 2wd only for 2 yrs. All other parts including windows are working perfectly. This has been a really good car!

Waste of money.
Pros

The body style & 4WD.

Cons

Everything else...

Nothing but repair problems; Two transmission replacements, a complete engine overhaul, and a starter that is ridiculously difficult to access. Numerous starting system problems, & power window failure.

This is a 1992 one owner S10 Tahoe LT, red/silver
Pros

Great SUV for a good do-it-yourself mechanic.

Tires are almost new. Has a new radiator. Needs new driver side outside door handle and inside heater coil. I have all the new parts including a new fan motor but not yet installed. 4W drive needs service but 2W works just fine. Everything else (AC, Stereo, etc.) works except the above and runs really well. Also, brand new battery.
