Positive Review
I bought my Chevy Colorado as an internet special with 16K on it. Now at 165K I've done next to nothing in repairs, only normal wear such as battery, tires, exhaust, and brakes. It's been great in snow and has held good value over the years.
Critical Review
I purchase this truck new in 2007. Overall it has been a good truck with only minor issues (so far). A transmission sensor failed while under warranty so dealer fixed it and no more problems with that. For the last 20,000 miles the check engine light has been on. Autozone checked and said it was a fuel solenoid but since it has not caused any serious issues in the performance of the truck, I have not carried it in to the dealer. For the last 10,000 miles the check TPM light has come on. Carried it to the dealer and they reset the TPM. That worked for about 10 minutes after I left the dealer. Now I just let the sensors flash and don't worry about them. Another issue is the anti-theft sensor. About every 3 months the truck will fail to start and the anti-theft sensor will flash. I let the truck sit for 10 minutes and then it starts. This seems to be a common problem with Colorados and something Chevy should do a recall on but I know they won't. I wish the vehicle had less sensors. They only seem to cause problems. I get around 20 MPG which is not bad but could be better. It has plenty of power but a little extra cab space would be nice. Other than that, I have only added gas and oil. Even with the issues I mentioned, I don't see myself trading off my Colorado unless I it starts giving me some serious problems.

Bought our '05 Colorado I-5 standard pkg truck near the end of the pandemic when you couldn't find any used truck under $15,000. Found this little gem in Sandusky Ohio for $4,000 with $130,000 miles on it... For that price, I figured we could get it repaired if we needed to that it was worth the investment. On the way home, near pittsburgh, the check engine light came on and I thought to myself, oh my God this is the beginning of my season in purgatory... But it was really nothing and after I reset the engine light I had no problems with it again. Just turned 150,000 miles and is still running like a champ and all I've done is change the oil and put a fresh set of tires on it. It's not terribly powerful or very fast but I don't need her for that and even though the interior is rather spartan, a stereo upgrade did the job and the seats are comfortable enough for a long trips. Definitely recommend this year model for this vehicle as an absolute bargain if you can find them.
117,000 miles. New battery. Sun visor broken. Cared for well. Not kept in garage Low mileage on tires

I'm 79 years old and don't need a truck any longer. I bought this truck new and have always treated it gently. It has 4 wheel drive, bucket seats, bed liner, fiberglass camper cap with drop-down window in front, chrome wheels, not a single parking lot ding on the sides, trailer hitch package with lighting hook-up. Color: Inferno Orange. Stands out in a parking lot!

I have owned the 5 cyl colorado for 4 years and this truck has been an amazingly reliable truck. I have had only one issue with this truck in 4 years/50k miles and it was a ground wire causing ac fan from working. I do preventative maintenance regularly making this truck super reliable.
Runs great
Not that comfortable
Barron went bad at 150,000 but that's it as far as mechanical issues go .Good truck I would suggest this truck to anyone wanting a small truck .
