Positive Review

"Love It!"

Other than some rust, a few dents, and a small oil leak that needs topped off every 4-5 months, it's the best car I've ever owned. Cheap to run and maintain, I bought mine for 400 2 years ago and other than some problems that the previous owner neglected to mention, have only had minor repairs to be made, and they were just older parts and basic maintenance and worn parts replacement.

"Good Starter Car"

This was my first car. I hated it when i saw it, but it definately grew on me. The A/C didnt work but the windows rolled down. There weren't any airbags which was fine because there is instead a sweet storage compartment running the whole width of the dash to put cigarettes lighters pens and anything no wider than a pack of smokes. For the year of the vehicle the sound system was good and the RS badge made it look like a rolling joke because its a cavalier haha. I will say on a serious note though I have honestly never driven a better car in the snow. NEVER. This vehicle is so heavy in the front that it never got stuck on a hill, nor did i slide through intersections. When needed or wanted for fun in the snow the E-brake is easily accessable and the back end of the car will really swing out. This is typically not a recomended use of the emergency break but it got me out of some sticky situations. The tire width was small which made for good cornering in bad conditions. I would buy one again if i could just for a winter vehicle, I cant stress enough how well it performed in cold snowy slick weather. The leg room was also nice, decent trunk, large cushioned front seats, lack of cupholders by the driver but for some reason putting them in the dash by the passenger seemed like a good idea. Its a good starter car for the fact its easy to maintain and operate, not too many options to be distracted with while learning and its sturdy so if ya happen to hit a shopping cart or rear end a corolla you and the vehicle will be just fine.

mileage low

Good mechanical condition. Good paint condition. This car has less than 50,000 mileage. Was painted recently with original color. The mechanical function is in very good condition. Some interior small repairs have to be done.

Great first car still running strong!
Pros

Looks great. Drives great. Very reliable.

Cons

Hard to find parts. Not many aftermarket parts

I've owned this car for about a year and put 20k miles on it and its only needed a few replacement parts. Now it has a crack in the head gasket but it still starts up every time I just fill up the reservoir every 3 weeks or so. It sounds amazing strait piped and is very easy to put in a custom stereo and subs. Too bad the car is pretty much dead. I get way too excited when I see another one (I've only ever seen 4 others) and it makes part finding nearly impossible. But it handles like a champ and has never let me down.

Economical + reliable
Pros

Inexpensive yet very reliable

Cons

Few bells and whistes, but adequate

I've owned several '91 thru '94 Cavaliers. I purchased my '94 coupe in 2001 for $1500. It had 111,000 miles. I recently retired it after 13+ years @ 218,000 miles. It has been both reliable and economical to own and maintain.

I'm happy with my Cavalier
Pros

Reliable

Cons

No power windows or a moon roof

I'm very happy with my Cavalier, but unfortunately it is getting very old and finally starting to cost me some money, however she has never left me stranded anywhere,so it will be hard to let her go,since she seems as if she is a part of the family.

Pros

great little station wagon.

Cons

No CD.

I bought this RS station wagon it's a 1993 RS Cavalier, but KBB DIDN'T GOT BACK THAT FAR. Chevy..It's been so dependable, I hate to sell it but I have to cuz of insurance. Can't afford 3 vehicles. I've had minor problems and kept all the receipts for services that have been preformed. I love the teal blue color..& I love the horsepower. ASKING 1700.00 CASH.
