Exterior held up well. Numerous repairs. Oil lines, intake manifold, 4 wheel drive repaired 2 times. 2 brake sensors-wheel cylinder-radiator-alternator-water pump-vacum lines for ducts-ball joints plus-wipers-back wiper motor. There is so more.Up to $4000.00 in repairs.

My husband had purchased my '98 2 door, 4wd, white with luggage rack & towing package new, and passed it on to me when he got a new Titan in '04. She's now got just over 150,000 miles on her, and I've had her for 21 years. Hasn't been garaged much so the trim is faded, and there are a couple of dings here & there, but this old girl is almost like a part of me. The upholstery is still almost perfect, dash and vinyl is in good shape, but many of the knobs are gone & I think it's down to one speaker that still works. Close to 10 yrs ago I apparently had a brake get stuck, drove it on home that way, & a neighbor came running with a fire extinguisher as I pulled in! So glad he was there, because he also installed new front brakes for me, (not 'anti-lock brakes' but are still working fine!) for a good price! The gas gauge quit working a long time ago along with the cruise control, but I rarely go out of town, so no big deal. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need to put some $$$ in to her to get any AC up & running again, because even if it's cool outside the VENT will only blow hot air, but I'm telling you... this old girl has always started on a dime! A few years ago I'd have sworn something was blown after I'd hit a big pot hole, but after having it towed in she cost me $40 for that repair, WITH an oil/filter change! Apparently some carbon (?) or something like that got stuck in something & my unbelievable mechanic was honest enough to tell me the truth - that he just had to basically blow it out and VOILA! (As a lone woman it's pretty incredible when you find a mechanic THAT trustworthy!) So I've now had my old girl longer than all 3 husbands combined, and wish my ex was still alive so I could let him know she's still on the road... (we both are... not sure how long either of us will last, but I pat her on the dash & say, "good girl" nearly every time she turns over & gets me where we need to go. Oh, main complaint? The driver's door hinge apparently has a ridiculously awful design. Twice I've had the steel spring pop off leaving the door stuck wide open until a body shop guy could maneuver something allowing it to close. The 2nd time it popped off they beefed up the repair for no charge and I'm a little gentler when opening it these days. Who knew it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to drive a vehicle with the driver's door stuck open!? I mean... really? OF ALL THINGS, RIGHT? lol

Two years ago, I developed wet AMD in my good eye. Since then, my other eye has gotten worse. Everything is one big blur. I'll be 86 next month, in pretty good health, but I just can't risk driving anymore. I bought this SUV in '13, put approx $6000 in parts/repairs/new tires--all done by some time in '15. Since then, I've only had to do the oil/lube. Were you to see this SUV, you'd say it looks absolutely brand new. There's not a scratch/dent/ding on the interior. There is one real teeny blemish on the interior. The interior is a plush fabric (blue); the exterior is white with luggage rack on roof.

I've owned my 2000 blazer for 6 months now and it only has 70,000 on the dash (garage kept by old owner) , its extremely reliable for the year, only problems are the shape of the windshield makes it so the wipers don't hit the drivers side of the window (all 2000 blazers). extremely comfy and pretty roomy, drives like a solid pickup, lots of technology for the year (aux, casset and radio, power windows and seat, emergency response options on rear view mirror
