Positive Review
We reeived the car from the dealer in perfect share. It is the LT1 model with anti lock brakes, A/C, On Star free for a year with 30 minute of free talk time.Power windows and door locks, The car runs very quiet. It has a great amount of head room and leg room. The seats have a great adjustment for the back. The radio that come with it is great ( Jack for mp3 player) two pull out cut holders in the front. I went from NYC today to Yale in New Haven CT on 2.5 gallons of gas about 35MPG it took $9.54 at the gas staion in New Haven and thats with hitting some traffic on I95. Chevy designed a winner of a car. Japan better watch out America is comming back. The only thing GM should produce more of the parts for this car in America. I even think they can make this whole car here. The A/c cools very fast. The tunk is big in the sedan. It has an inside tunk release and an inside gas door release.
Critical Review
I have had problems out of this vehicle from day one. The performance is substandard and the "Ecodrive" engine is a bust. The car does not want to go into overdrive, even fresh off the lot, when I spoke to the dealer about it, they explained that that had to do with the car trying to efficiently run better. The car originally REQUIRED dexos rated synthetic oil which at a cost of $80 or more for an oil change I was shocked, even more so, the plugs are required to be changed every 25,000 miles (so the dealer says, the manual said every 37,000). At 27,000 miles I had to take the car in to have the plugs changed because they failed while I was driving, who in their right mind designs a car (let alone a Chevrolet)to have the plugs changed every 25k? Furthermore, the car will lose power when the AC is running, in order to get the car up to a cruising speed, I would have to turn the AC off, get to cruising speed, then turn it back on and pray it wouldn't force me to slow down. Now, my mechanic suspects that I have sensor going bad where if my car is going into overdrive between 45-55 mph, and you try to accelerate a bit to hard, the check engine light will flash and it will rev up over 4,000 rpm. I have to pull over, let the car downshift and then drive again in order to keep it from consistently operating over 4,000 rpm and it will drive normally. I have one year left on my loan and cannot wait to get rid of this bucket! I bought this car as a commuter car for good gas mileage, and wanting to stay in the American made Chevrolet brand I grew up with I was sorely disappointed and will never own another, this has been the third Chevrolet I have owned as an adult that has done me wrong. To add insult to injury, my cousin tried to open the passenger door from the inside while it was locked and the handle cracked off 4 months after I had it, about a year ago, the switch for the dome light broke off and now I have to replace the whole assembly to repair it. It was cheaply made and I am utterly frustrated with it!

just want to buy some other used car
This is a good car it gets 28mpg. in town am on freeway also . I have 140000 on this one an reg,oil change . just want to see how much it is worth.
Reliable great on gas. Not much pick and go from start. Large trunk space Very comfortable for small car. Great car for young and old. Love this car. 145k still going strong.
This car gives a decent ride, has great brakes and strong A/C. Gas mileage on the road is good. I've gotten 36MPG at a steady 70 mph. It just has no torque to speak of. When accelerating up the 2 fwy in Glendale, if I let the revs drop, it falls flat on its face....lol. If I keep it in a lower gear, at 4000 rpm±, then it can maintain 70 mph. I've only had to change out the coil pack in 23000 as far as repairs go. And, oh, its small size is great for parking in tight spaces.

Easy on gas
Very small
Not bad..reliable car and its great on gas ...about 20.00 fills it up and with this economy we need that!
Drove well, great gas mileage
Engine failure
Quick summary, the car was great and then it wasn't. Once the car had issues, it became the biggest headache and quickly became no longer useable. But, with only 112,000 miles I definitely thought I was going to get at least to 180,000 miles before I ran into any major issues with it. I had my little manual transmission Chevy Aveo for 8 years. It was such a good car for about 6 or 6 1/2 years. The only issue I had during those years was the wheel bearings (from all the potholes in Memphis) and the steering was very loose. Other than that, it was great, it got me from Arizona to Tennessee without any issues and many other long distance trips to Florida and Kentucky. However, I ran into some major issues with it within the 7th and 8th year of owning it. I'm not going to lie, I had a small fender bender with it, but nothing that couldn't be fixed easily. But, even after repairing the initial problem, I constantly was in and out of the shop with it. Even with all the mechanical work and replacing multiple parts, the car one day just quit with engine failure steming from a head gasket issue.
Easy engine pull
Junk always replacing parts
Easiest engine I've ever pulled but they're weak in my opinion trany and motor blew out at 100000 withing 3000 miles of each other idk if person who owned car before me was just terrible about taking care of it but this one was a lemon I would personally stay as far away from these cars as you can
Easy to drive, great on gas, an easy to park
The car for me was super reliable, and comfortable! I always joked that it was lifted but I actually really liked it! I rarely ever drug, and I live out in the country. I got in a wreck today. It kept me safe. It done it’s job. For a first time car I fully recommend! Also it’s great on gas! I went on a long trip and only had to fill it up twice! and I was there for a week! There and then back! I loved my car! It also had lots of trunk room!
