What Owners are Saying About the 2000 Chevrolet 3500 Regular Cab

"Get market value"

"This website no longer gives you a market price for vehicle. It’s a vehicle for automotive dealers or financing agencies to make a sell or finance a new vehicle. Totally worthless!!!"

"Best truck I have ever owned."

"I bought my 2000, c3500 (5,7L) new, off the car lot with eight miles on the odometer. Parts, tires and insurance have always been readily available and cheap... the truck is easy to maintain. The payload is approximately 4170lbs, towing 8600lbs, 4:10 rear end, crank windows, AC, heavy steel bumpers and the gas mileage is around 12 mpg. Being a 3500 with class E rear tires, the truck can give a harsh ride on roads in poor repair. The 1 ton suspension is high enough that I can easily crawl under the truck to change oil & filters and the hood is low enough that I could work on the motor if required. No side steps are needed to get into the cab or bed of the truck. The truck still passes smog, I have not had any problem with the automatic transmission, no rust issues (California valley), The front end was redone at 135,000 mile. I just put in new door pins for the sagging driver side door and the AC is in need of recharge/repair. Totally acceptable for a 22 year old truck."

"Very reliable"

"two water pumps, one tune up and nothing else"
