Win a 2005 Ford GT with Only 1,500 Miles on It

The Ford GT has a unique hold on the American imagination. The first edition was the product of a grudge so epic in scale that Hollywood recreated it for the 2019 film Ford V. Ferrari (short version: denied the chance to buy Ferrari, Henry Ford II spent a fortune to build a car that would take a treasured racing title from the Italian brand). The second edition, nearly two full generations later, appeared in 2005 as the first genuine supercar Ford had built in decades. You can have one, for a small donation.

It’s another giveaway from Omaze, the fundraising juggernaut that has used car raffles to support good causes all over America in recent years.  This one supports the Petersen Automotive Museum.

Your donations enter you in a drawing for a beautiful red 2005 Ford GT with just 1,500 miles on the odometer, sitting on factory tires. Cutaway doors, an engine bay covered in glass so you can admire the 5.4-liter supercharged V8 behind the seats, and a stop speed over 250 mph await the winner. Along with $20,000 cash to help with the insurance bill.

Enter at Omaze, but do it soon – the contest closes on January 21.

Incidentally, should you not win this one, there are still third-generation, 2020 Ford GTs available. Pricing starts around $500,000.
