Toyota recently announced the Adventure grade, a new trim level available for the 2018 RAV4. First revealed at the Chicago Auto Show, the Adventure grade falls between the XLE and SE grades in the RAV4 lineup. Pricing for the new model starts at $28,695 for the front-drive version and $29,395 for the all-wheel-drive version. Both prices include destination.

The Adventure grade RAV4 has unique styling accents, including gray rocker panel guards and lower valance panels; black headlight bezels, foglight surrounds and roof rails; oversized fender flares; black wheels with 18-inch tires; and special badging. The interior receives trim carbon fiber-like trim pieces, special all-weather floor and cargo mats, and a 120-volt/100-watt power outlet in the cargo area. A Cold Weather Package is available, which includes heated fabric front row seats, heated steering wheel, and a wiper de-icer.

This RAV4 comes standard with a Tow Prep Package, with an upgraded radiator, plus additional engine and transmission coolers. Towing capacity for the Adventure grade is 3,500 pounds on all-wheel-drive models, and 2,900 pounds for front-drive models. The new 2018 Toyota RAV4 Adventure grade is expected to arrive in dealerships later this month.
