Previewing a vehicle that will go on sale in various world markets late next year and arrive in the U.S. in 2015, Dutch boutique automaker Spyker took the wraps off of its B6 Venator Spyder Concept during the gathering at Pebble Beach. Based on the B6 Venator Coupe Concept presented last March at the Geneva Auto Show, this open-top alternative shares all of the Coupe‘s key mechanicals including a mid-mounted 375-horsepower turbocharged V6 and 6-speed automatic transmission, as well as carbon fiber bodywork surrounding an aluminum chassis. Like the Coupe, the new Spyder features LED-infused headlamps and taillights, and 19-inch Turbofan alloy wheels.

The B6 Venator Spyder’s handcrafted aircraft-inspired cabin design also carries directly from its closed sibling, right down to a turned-aluminum dash that recalls Spyker cars built in the 1920’s, exposed transmission-actuation linkage and red ignition-switch cover. Here, too, the premium leather upholstery features a diamond-tufted pattern. Pricing for the new 2015 Spyker B6 Venator Spyder is expected to start around $150,000.
