Scion has confirmed it will unveil a new concept vehicle next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. While yet to reveal its name, Scion has confirmed the car will be a precursor to its third all-new production model that will join the recently introduced iA and iM starting in 2017.

Although no other facts accompanied the initial teaser image, there’s speculation this new model could be a compact crossover related to the Toyota C-HR Concept, a sub-RAV4-sized hybrid. The automaker presented that fully engineered one-off last month at the Frankfurt Auto Show, stating that its volume-build successor would be based on the same Toyota New Generation Architecture that underpins the soon-to-launch Prius. While the C-HR will carry a Toyota badge in some markets, it’s possible this potential rival to the Chevy Trax, Jeep Renegade, Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3 could be sold here as a Scion. We’ll know more in November.
