A regular at the Geneva Auto Show, the innovative Swiss automotive design house Rinspeed has created an autonomous concept car to show next January at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. While headman Frank M. Rinderknecht offered only modest details about the Rinspeed Etos, he did note this sporty, self-driving coupe will feature an intuitive adaptive autopilot system. This hybrid-powered coupe also has a landing pad for its own mini drone capable of any number of fun and functional missions from shooting and streaming live video to delivering snacks.

The cabin of the Etos reflects similarly advanced thinking. It features a steering wheel that folds into the dash when not needed and dual viewing screens that move closer to those inside to offer even better views of programs delivered in conjunction with its Harman Connected Car technology. Rinderknecht also notes the Etos boasts a series of new exterior finishes that provide unique visual and tactile sensations he calls "magic." We’ll know more early next year.
