Jeep has recalled 2,135 Renegade SUVs from model years 2021 through 2023 because their reverse lights may not activate when needed.
Jeep tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that the cars “may have been built with a reverse gear lamp configuration with the incorrect bumper backup lamp assembly.”
Dealers will inspect the cars and, if necessary, replace the backup lamp assembly to fix the problem.
