The 2023 Aston Martin DBX

Aston Martin has recalled 1,452 vehicles because their rearview cameras may not function properly.

Recalled models include some, but not all, examples of the:

The company tells federal safety regulators that the cameras themselves are fine, but a home screen menu can cover the image it produces on the screen.  

Before dealers fix it, owners can prevent the problem by giving the infotainment system 30 seconds to fully boot up before putting the car in reverse. However, dealers can fix the problem with a software update.

Some of the recalled vehicles can download the update over the air. Owners of other models, however, will need to bring them to the dealership to have the patch installed.

By law, dealers never charge for recall repairs.
