First seen last fall in the 2015 Porsche Panamera Turbo S Exclusive limited edition that debuted at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the automaker’s Rear Seat Entertainment option is now available on the 2015 Cayenne and Macan SUVs as well as all Panamera models. As in the original run of 100 Exclusive-spec cars, this new Porsche audio/video upgrade features dual 10.1-inch, 1,280×800-pixel high-res color screens mounted in the backrests of the front seats along with an integrated DVD player, dual USB ports, an SD card slot and an HDMI port to allow connection of an external video game console. The setup includes a video camera, Bluetooth headphones and WiFi Crosslink Streaming that permits recorded videos to be displayed on both screens via a WiFi connection.

The system can also be controlled by a personal smart device via a dedicated app. Available on any new Cayenne, Macan or Panamera, the system runs $2,590. A Rear Seat Entertainment Plus package adds a 32GB flash drive for saving multimedia files runs $2,890.
