08/11/2016 2:00pm Every two years Mini owners gather for MINI Takes the States, a cross-country road trip filled with driving fun and unbridled Mini fanaticism. In 2014 we joined the festivities from Memphis to Cleveland. Duly impressed we decided to repeat the experience, this time driving from Detroit to Green Bay. Along the way we consumed countless donuts, explored the wilds of rural Michigan, toured a helicopter factory, and marveled at a sportsball shrine called Lambeau Field.
