A collaborative "what if?" effort between a group of apprentices and their instructors at BMW plants in Munich and Dingolfing, the Mini Paceman Adventure Concept presents an interesting take on the Mini. Spun from a current Mini Cooper S Paceman ALL4 and finished in a custom Jungle Green Metallic paint with matte- and gloss-black accents, this cheeky 2-seater takes the form of a petite pickup fine-tuned with off-road capability.

Beyond its unique open-back body, the Mini Paceman Adventure Concept boasts a modified suspension with additional ground clearance and raised front/rear ramp heights plus a set of custom deep-tread off-road tires. The one-off also features a rugged roof rack with supplemental forward lighting, a light-duty trailer hitch and a high-mount snorkel air intake allowing it to take on fairly challenging water crossings.

While the Mini Paceman Adventure Concept does look cool and is fully functional, BMW stresses that it is strictly a one-off design exercise and there are no plans to make it part of any future Mini lineup.
