Automotive success stories like the Kia Telluride are rare. Americans already had a lot of 3-row midsize SUVs to choose from when Kia introduced the Tellie in 2019. Yet, many quickly decided the new guy was the best option, even in a very crowded room.
The Telluride has won our Best Buy Award in its class every year of its existence.
Kia updated its largest SUV for the 2023 model year and hasn’t messed with the winning formula much since. That will remain true for 2025.
The 2025 Kia Telluride will see a few modest changes. Its prices will stay almost identical.
Updates for 2025 include new side airbags for second-row passengers and version 1.5 of Kia’s Highway Driving Assist system, intended to be smoother than the first version.
Other changes apply to specific trim levels.
The X-Pro AWD gains more towing power, increasing its capacity from 5,000 to 5,500 pounds. It also sees a slight height increase, now with 10mm of additional ground clearance.
X-Line and X-Pro trims get black exterior trim, roof rails, and badges for a more sophisticated look. Inside, they get embossed front seats, a standard dual-12.3-inch screen setup, and the option of Terracotta upholstery.
