A few more details have emerged regarding the mysterious Kia sports car concept that will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. This high-performance one-off – now officially confirmed as the Kia GT4 Stinger Concept – will be built on a rear-wheel drive platform and pack a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 315 horsepower.

A newly released head-on view of the GT4 Stinger Concept shows that the boldly rendered front fascia on this low-profile 2+2 features a stylized version of the automaker’s signature "Schreyer-look" grille that incorporates a glowing surround element as well as prominent vertically stacked LED headlamps. While not clearly visible in the teaser image, Kia also confirms its intriguing one-off boasts a deep and highly functional carbon fiber front splitter, brake cooling ducts and a set of 20-inch custom light-alloy wheels.
