From today’s "In case you were wondering" files, here’s a factory-issued video that chronicles the total trashing of a painstakingly rendered clay that once served as the styling buck for the 2012 Jaguar XF sedan. Interestingly enough, the same lot of designers who had spent countless hours creating this full-scale one-off and ensuring that every surface detail was perfect down to the last millimeter also were involved in its summary execution by axe and sledgehammer.
