The 2023 Genesis Electrified GV70 will start at $65,850, with prices climbing to nearly $75,000 when fully equipped. Genesis will also charge a delivery fee for the vehicle but hasn’t disclosed it yet.
The Electrified GV70 is an all-electric version of our Compact Luxury SUV Best Buy Award winner, the Genesis GV70.
The two vehicles look almost identical, but the electric version gets a faux grille that is almost an exact inversion of the gas version’s grille — black mesh etched into silver diamonds that copy the chain-link-fence openings of the gas version’s fascia.
Inside, it gets a fingerprint sensor for a starter button, Genesis’s comfortable Ergo Motion seats, and the option of a 16-speaker/1,050-watt Lexicon audio system and remote parking that works even when the driver is outside the car.
A pair of electric motors — one per axle — gives it 429 horsepower and all-wheel drive (AWD). Genesis says it will travel 236 miles between charges — almost 100 miles less than the least expensive version of the Tesla Model Y, America’s best-selling EV.

Genesis hasn’t disclosed the delivery fee it will charge for the 2023 Electrified GV70.
