At the 2018 Woodward Dream Cruise today in Michigan, Ford revealed a very special Mustang Bullitt that is being raffled off to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Ford and the JDRF are selling raffle tickets at $10 each (up to a maximum of 60,000 tickets) for this Bullitt, which is painted Kona Blue and wears unique gray wheels along with blue interior stitching.

This Mustang has all the 2019 Mustang Bullitt’s high-performance add-ons, not the least of which is the performance-tuned 5.0-liter V8 that churns out 480 horsepower and gives the car a top speed of 163 mph. And just like the 1968 Mustang Fastback from the classic Steve McQueen movie, “Bullitt,” this new version of the Bullitt features minimal badging, a blacked-out grille, and a special white cue ball shifter.

It’s a great car, and you can see it on display Friday, August 17, at the Ford Media Club House at Kruse and Muer, 28028 Woodward Ave., in Royal Oak, Michigan. It also will be on display Saturday, August 18, at Mustang Alley, at the intersection of 9 Mile and Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, Michigan.

JDRF raffle tickets are available for purchase at both locations. Raffle tickets also are available online at www.onecause.com/jdrfbullitt until November 8. Online ordering ends November 9. The lucky winner will be selected on November 13.
