2021 Bronco Packages

  1. Mid Package
  2. High Package
  3. Lux Package
  4. Sasquatch Package

What Comes Standard on the Ford Bronco

Keep in mind that you can add some things to “standard features” based on the Bronco model you choose.

  • LED headlights
  • Black door handles, mirror caps, fender flares, and fender tie-down hooks
  • Manual air conditioning
  • Push-button start

2021 Ford Bronco Mid Package

This package is included in the Outer Banks, Wildtrak, and First Edition models, and is optional for the Big Bend, Black Diamond, and Badlands.

  • Two-door Intelligent Access with lock and unlock functionality
  • 110V/150W AC power outlet
  • Ambient footwell lighting
  • Auto-dimming rear-view mirror
  • Illuminated visor mirrors
  • Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control
  • Heated front seats
  • Remote Start System (automatic transmission only)
  • Reverse Sensing System
  • Subscription navigation with a 3-month trial
  • SYNC 4 with enhanced voice recognition
  • Ford Co-Pilot360 including Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking
  • Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert
  • Lane-keeping system
  • Automatic high-beam control
  • Rear-view camera with backup assist grid lines

Coolest Features — The Reverse Sensing System is more than just a backup camera, which is mandatory on all new cars. It adds rear parking sensors that will alert you when you’re getting too close to another car or object, adding a layer of safety and taking some of the guesswork out of parking.

Adding further to the safety features is BLIS (blind-spot information system) with cross-traffic alert. This system alerts you if there are any potential hazards in your blind spot and lets you know if there is any cross traffic behind you when backing up.

SYNC 4 is the latest generation of Ford’s touchscreen infotainment system that includes enhanced voice recognition, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa.

Bronco High Package

The High Package is included in the First Edition model and is optional for the Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak models.

  • All features in the Mid Package
  • 12-inch center stack touchscreen with connected navigation system
  • Sideview mirror LED approach lamps and LED spotlight
  • 360-degree camera
  • Additional sound deadening
  • Forward Sensing System

Coolest Features — Moving up to the High Package adds an awesome 12-inch touchscreen dominating much of the center stack. It still uses the same SYNC 4 system as the Mid Package, but adds connected navigation (which means it gets GPS data from your phone) and an Information on Demand Panel that adds to the screen’s customizability.

You also get LED approach lamps and LED spotlights on the side view mirrors. These add a little extra security to your Bronco. Additional sound deadening makes this SUV a little more street-friendly with a quieter ride, especially at highway speeds. It makes the Bronco a little more civilized without sacrificing off-road capability.

Bronco Lux Package

The Lux Package is Included in the First Edition and optional for the Outer Banks and Wildtrak models.

  • All features in the High Package
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • 10-speaker B&O sound system
  • Connected built-in navigation system
  • Evasive steering assist
  • Universal garage door opener
  • Two additional front-row USB smart-charging ports
  • Wireless charging pad
  • Heated steering wheel

Coolest Features — The navigation system works a little differently on the Lux Package than it does on the High Package. The High Package has what Ford calls “connected navigation,” which means it can give you a navigation screen, but it needs to get GPS data from your phone. With “connected built-in navigation” on the Lux package, no phone is required, and the navigation system is built into the car.

On top of that, you get some extra driver-assistance tech like evasive steering assist and adaptive cruise control that add a lot to highway driving comfort. Plus, you can turn up the tunes with the 10-speaker B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen that will sound great no matter what terrain you’re driving on.

Sasquatch Package on the Ford Bronco

This package is included with the Wildtrak and First Edition models and is optional for the Outer Banks, Badlands, Black Diamond, and Base models.

    • 17-inch black-painted aluminum beadlock-capable wheels with 35-inch LT315/70R17 BSW Mud-Terrain tires
    • Electronic-locking front and rear axles
  • High-clearance suspension
  • High-clearance fender flares
  • 10-speed automatic transmission with Trail Control
  • 4.7:1 final-drive ratio

Coolest Features — The Sasquatch Package is a must for serious off-roaders. It starts with the massive 35-inch mud-terrain tires on aluminum beadlock-capable wheels. This rubber, combined with extra ground clearance, locking axles, and special Bilstein suspension means the Bronco can go just about anywhere.

Trail Control is like cruise control for off-roading and can hold your speed up and down hills.

The high-clearance fender flares are more accommodating for the bigger tires and give the Bronco a more aggressive look that’s backed up by its amazing capabilities.

Our Thoughts

Which packages are right for you depends on your taste and budget, but for most drivers, the High Package will deliver the most bang for the buck. The price isn’t too steep, and it adds the bigger touchscreen with connected navigation, more safety tech, and some extra sound deadening, which all combine to make the Bronco an overall better daily driver.

Naturally, the Sasquatch Package is an easy recommendation for off-road nuts who can afford it.
