Engine

The standard engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged inline-4 that produces 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. The engine is upgradable to a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 that turns it up to 310 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard for both engines on the Outer Banks model. Four-wheel drive (4WD) also comes standard.

Both engines have a maximum towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs when equipped with the Towing Capability package. This applies to both 2-door and 4-door models.

Outer Banks Dimensions

The 2021 Bronco Outer Banks measures 174 inches long, 76 inches wide, and 72 inches tall for the 2-door model. If you upgrade to the 4-door body, it’s lengthened to 189 inches.

Bronco Outer Banks Tire Size and Options

There are two tire/wheel options for the 2021 Ford Bronco Outer Banks. Standard are 18-inch aluminum wheels with P255/70R18 All-Terrain A/T tires.

If you add the Sasquatch Package, you get smaller wheels and bigger tires. Specifically, 17-inch bead-lock capable wheels wrapped with LT315/70R17 Mud-Terrain (M/T) tires. These are the wheels and tires you’ll want for serious off-roading, but the standard rubber is still good for mild to moderate off-road adventures.
