Dendrobium Concept EV Teased for Geneva

The latest hypercar preparing to surface is the electric-power Dendrobium Concept, which is set to bow at the Geneva Auto Show. The first such offering to come from Singapore, the Dendrobium Concept is a joint project between one of that country’s leading EV mobility experts, Vanda Electrics, and Williams Advanced Engineering, a group affiliated with the successful Formula One team that also was instrumental in co-developing the Aston Martin RapidE Concept.

The Dendrobium coupe, named after a rare species of orchid, features a radical design, carbon composite construction, competition-inspired aerodynamics and exceptionally powerful electric motors. The car will also boast a sophisticated battery and controller. In keeping with its minimum emissions theme, the cabin of the two-seat Dendrobium is wrapped in premium Bridge of Weir leather, which Vanda Electrics CEO Larissa Tan notes is the lowest carbon tannery and leather product in the world. We’ll have more from the Geneva show.
