Audi Recalls More Q6 e-tron, SQ6 e-tron SUVs Over Backup Camera

The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron seen in profile

Audi has issued its second recall in two weeks for some Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron SUVs over issues with their backup cameras. Last week, the company recalled 313 of the cars from model year 2025 because of fuzzy images. This week, it has added 98 more, also from 2025, because their cameras may activate only after a delay.

The company tells federal safety officials that the vehicles “have an issue with the originally installed data set in the parking system software, which can prevent the system from waking up from standby mode when the parking system is activated, or cause Ethernet communication problems between the cameras and certain control units.”

Dealers will fix the issue with a software update.
