Maserati has recalled 27,354 vehicles because their rearview cameras may not display an image.
The recall includes some, but not all, examples of the:
- 2021-2024 Maserati Levante
- 2021-2024 Maserati Ghibli
- 2021-2024 Maserati Quattroporte
- 2023-2024 Maserati Grecale
- 2022-2025 Maserati MC20
- 2024 Maserati GranCabrio
- 2024 Maserati GranTurismo
The company tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that radio software “may prevent the rearview camera signal from passing through to the media screen under certain conditions.”
Dealers will fix the problem by updating the radio software. Some of these vehicles can receive that update over the air. For others, owners will need to bring the car to the dealership to receive the update. Maserati will notify owners through the mail whether they need to come in.
Recall repairs are always free.
Manufacturers attempt to contact every owner, but they don’t always reach them all with the news. Find out if your car needs any critical safety repairs at our recall center.
