The best-selling luxury vehicle in America is entering its dark phase. For 2025, Lexus will offer a Black Line special edition of its RX SUV.
Lexus will build just 500 copies, all based on the high-end RX 500h F Sport Performance hybrid.
To make one, Lexus designers paint the car in a muted medium gray it calls Icognito, then darken exterior trim bits like the grille and mirror caps with gloss black. It sits on 21-inch split-spoke alloy wheels, also in gloss black, with orange brake calipers.
Inside, Black Line models get black upholstery with gray stitches.
Lexus hasn’t revealed pricing. But the 2024 RX 500h F Sport Performance, without the visual upgrades, starts at $64,100 (including the mandatory $1,350 destination fee).
The company will also introduce an F Sport Design trim to its RX 350 and hybrid RX 350h SUVs. F Sport Design models get visual cues from the sporty F Sport Handling model without their performance upgrades. That means a different front fascia and 10-spoke alloy wheels with a gloss black finish.
