The humble subcompact car has had a rough go of it in recent years. But it may be turning a corner in 2024. Recent sales figures show an unexpected surge in sales of the smallest cars. Perhaps there’s hope for the sub-$25,000 segment.
One of its few stalwarts returns for 2025 with few changes but a new special edition. The 2025 Kia Soul will start at $21,665 (after a mandatory $1,375 destination charge). That’s just $100 more than the 2024 Soul on dealer lots today.
The price stays largely the same because the vehicle stays largely the same. Kia will make no changes to the Soul lineup for 2025, save a new special edition.
The Soulmate Special Edition, based on the EX trim, features a two-tone roof, an umber interior of cloth and Syntex artificial leather, and a Harman Kardon premium audio system. Kia hasn’t revealed pricing for the new limited edition model.
